Unless you look at the toes curled in anguish and discard your cultural blinders-- then it's one of the few issues which is truly black and white: It's done only to one sex, it requires special pleading [none of the rationalizations can be used to violate girls' genitals... or to justify the ablation of any other normal, healthy part of the body], it's permanent, non-therapeutic, non-consensual, and is contrary to just about every value people claim to cherish.
