//Well, the short answer is “nah”, he is not a skeleton. Gaster is humanoid, and only his hands are skeletal in nature. Quite basically, he has flesh up until his hands, where his skin shifts into a matter similar to regular human bone, if more like ivory in its smoothness.
Before the circus was founded, Gaster was actually quite frail and thin, but he needed to get into shape quickly to keep up with the pace of his own ACTs. Long story short, he’s now buff (a fact that his husband Aster greatly appreciates)! He also has a blaster tattoo on his right arm, though he has yet to reveal when or even why he got it.
"HI MISTER!! I REALLY LIKE YOUR HAT!!!" Whoah, where did this kid come from?! Looks like he's been shot out of a cannon with the amount of energy he has. Oh dear, he's running for one of the tents now squealing excitedly. Anyone gonna stop him?
Gaster looks at the excited child with a smile as he runs around. He catches him, eventually.
