On the seventh day of circus... Chinese pole! We were delighted to watch a showing of Elephant, an accessible show written by Milton Lopes. The cast of D/deaf and disabled performers use aerial circus, live music, audio description and sign language to tell the story of a mixed-race disabled man navigating belonging, identity and self-acceptance.

        ‹♚› Junko stretched as she got on her tip toes, swaying side to side before tightening her pig tails. Feet relaxing back to the cold floor, why her feet were bare was a different story. The strawberry blonde sat down on a concrete slab, humming for a sort time as her hands combed through her hair. Expecting to meet Nico after sometime of being absent.  ❝About time Nico!❞ she sighed while getting up, making her way to the person whom she could hear walking toward her.

        A large smile crossed her face while flicking her hair behind her only to stop once she was blocked by something bigger and wider than her. She scowled for a brief moment before looking to the sides then up. Now it made sense ❝Ah, yikes you are like a giant… and reptilian…..you must be Yamori? Nico talks about you too often. Has he sent you here or are you looking for him too?❞ 

        Placing her hand on her hip with a wide smile. ❝I’m slightly annoyed. I was told he would be here, but instead I get you.❞ Junko turned back as began walking toward her make shift bench. Perching on the slab once more while crossing her legs. ❝So big guy, how long has Nico been trailing you?❞
