It's more than three sentences but fuck it lol The suite was one of the fanciest they had been in a while, with a tub that could easily hold all three of them and a bed that even Date had been unable to resist getting some sleep in. The kitchen with its fully stocked refrigerator of groceries was what really put it ahead of other places they'd stayed in though, and the soft smile it had brought to Benny's face.

"You really don't have to make breakfast you know," they said, stepping up behind him to rest their head between his shoulders as their arms wrapped around his middle.

"Sure I do. Just like you know you won't be able to distract me from doing so, regardless of how smart you are." Kel huffs out a laugh and Benny takes one of their hands in his, raising it up to kiss the back of it. "And how we both know, despite being fast asleep, Dante will know exactly when it's ready and be sat ready to eat before he's even fully awake. So." He twists to look at them as best he can and Kel relents, taking half a step back so he can turn fully. "Gotta make sure you eat something before the nerves kick in and I know you'd rather have something familiar rather than take a shot at a breakfast buffet. Even one at a hotel as nice as this."

ok so for those who are unaware: this is just a liberal arts college au in which i plan to project every dumb thing that happened while i was at school onto the cast of the witcher

alittlebitmaybe yes!! i'm like...yen is emancipated from her shitty family and isn't paying a cent. hates the whole institution and rips it to shreds constantly. the administrators and top donors know her by name. poli sci major/women's studies correlate who chills in the women's studies lounge to scare the freshmen boys who come in for essay help alittlebitmaybe geralt is from nowhere and has barely heard of the school before he gets there but he had a hs counselor who Believed In Him and when he looked at the brochure the landscape was nice and there was like a horse in one of the photos so he's like whatever okay i'll apply alittlebitmaybe jask went there exclusively because it is prestigious enough to satisfy his parents (while also pissing them off for being Progressive, gender neutral bathrooms, oh the horror) and has a wild theatre department. also a little bit because he had an overnight prospective student visit and fell in love with his host student, maybe alittlebitmaybe geralt is either an environmental studies major or a medieval & renaissance studies major and i can't decide which because i like the idea of geralt's drunken party trick being a flawless recitation of the canterbury tales in middle english too much

Since prompt #7 was “[GIF of Spongebob’s computer lighting on fire],” this was a fun one to write. Also, if it involved Jacobi and computers, there was no way I wasn’t including Maxwell in this mix. Hope this suits!

honestly, i hadn’t even thought of the second option and now i can’t decide which is funnier-- percy and nora and POSEIDON being all up in arms over a two inch long little orange blob, or there being a huge reveal that our scary underwater tentacle-y sea monster is just a very, very, very large goldfish

i'm gonna be that guy and say: pick three OCs to answer desire for, any of them you like. :3

desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Man I would love to talk about [redacted] here but those revelations will have to wait lolol. So instead:

Thea: I don't think she would voice it this way, if she is even conscious of it, but deep down she wants to be free of all the obligations and promises she has made and be truly selfish for once in her life. Take Della (and baby Nico) and go somewhere where no-one knows them or their history, and build something new together. But also, her promises mean something to her and the people she is bound to in the city she loves and for all she might want to leave it all behind, it would destroy her a little to abandon them.

Jing (Avatar Legends): Jing is an orphan street-rat in her late teens with anger issues and as such, is pretty focused on the short-term and if you asked her what she wanted, you would likely get a very flippant response. I think deep down though, if she were to get introspective or if someone was able to get a peep behind the proverbial armor, what she craves is security and community - a place and people she can feel loved and accepted in and by, and not have to worry all the time about basic necessities. She - at this point in her story - is pretty incapable of even accepting this about herself, let alone allow herself to be vulnerable enough to admit it to someone.

...I'm actually struggling to think of any other characters who are still trying to get what they want. Some have already achieved their greatest desire (because I am a romantic and my characters get stuck with that trait too lol), some like Morden don't want specific things so much as they just Want, and some have shut themself away from their desires as a matter of self-preservation (looking at Theo first and foremost but they arent the only one.)

(Also, fun fact that I'm sure says something about me: I cannot think of any of my characters that I've played for more than a one-shot that aren't motivated by a desire to love and be loved.)
