(Something different, where she is older and a bit more frail.) Cith wandered around the kingdom, this journey, she carried a walking stick with her, to help balance her weight. She looked around and she heard a deep growl, "Hello Smaug. My old friend,"

"My, more years have passed than I first thought." He appeared the same, ageless as the elves though far more dangerous. "I thought you had forgotten the way to my door." Smaug spoke with fondness in his voice. She was more beast than human, a positive in the wyrm's mind.

Kili keeps a running tally of how many times Cithiel saves his life and vice-versa, hoping to eventually save her more often…which remains to be seen.

Another Journey || Shifter!Verse

Cithiel watches him walk away and she stops the horse. She could tell it was going to be a long journey back to his homeland. Hopefully, Dis would be there waiting for her son. She had missed that woman terribly, but never made it a point to write or visit her. Cithiel waits a moment and she looks around, finally coming to the large golden lion come towards the pony. She smiles and gets off. Instantly, the hobbit notices the size to which he is grown. Walking around him, she pets him gently, coming to the tattoos and scars, she pulls her hand away. Cithiel takes the clothes from his mouth and places them in the saddle bag, then getting back on the pony.

Fili gave a pleased purr when she stroked over his fur. He watched Cithiel get back up onto the pony before the lion wandered off into the trees. He made sure to keep out of sight from the road, yet in a place where Cithiel could follow him easily. Fili knew that the journey back to Erebor would be long and hard, but he was confident they would make it. He knew he'd never be able to repay Cithiel for leaving her home to come with him, though he would try.
