Except suddenly her feet are no longer on the ground, his grasp around her bringing her into a simple, bridal carry in his arms. It's not quite a deep enough wound to keep her from walking or moving, but the cut to her thigh did seem rather decent enough for stitches.

". . .P-perfectly fine. . ." She's certainly trying to ignore the light shade of crimson rising, huff of defeat escaping her.

"Johnny!" the queen exclaimed, glaring at her boyfriend as he threated the man. Of course, she was grateful that he intervened but he knew how she felt about violence. Moreover, he was not yet divorced and they were supposed to lay low. "Yeah, you hear her, Johnny?" the man mocked, wrapping an arm around her waist. That sole gesture was enough to make her shiver from head to toe and try to pull away from him. "Don't touch me!"

Had the circumstances been different, Wanda would've slapped Johnny in the face for touching her ass. She was in too much pain to put in the effort to do that, and he was attempting to help her. Wanda yelped in shock the moment Johnny had thrown her in the air, as she hadn't expected that. It was with enough strength and force that had sent her high into the air before she came back down to Earth. She landed safely in Johnny Cage's arms that waited to catch her, holding her in the bridal position. "Thank you," she murmured softly before resting her head on his shoulder.

Wanda didn't hesitate when Johnny asked her to bring his coat. She wanted to leave this Hollywood blockbuster premiere after party after growing tired of having to engage with fellow actors, producers, directors, and executives. Wanda had agreed to this red carpet movie premiere date and going to the after party with Johnny Cage. She couldn't deny that she didn't want to go on this date with Johnny, she had a grand time with him.

She moved to the coat closet, sorting through the coats until she found theirs buried under a few coats. Wanda bundled the two coats in her arms tightly as she rushed out of the coat closet to join Johnny, who stood just a foot away. "I don't know about you, but I think I overworked my social battery." Wanda chuckled, handing the coat to the actor while holding her own.
