I’m not convinced that any true anarchism can be achieved through revolution
I don’t know if that makes me a liberal or whatever but I see the essential need of worker/citizen participation in economic and political affairs. This participation is also labor though, and although current levels of political apathy and dejection are higher or lower depending on the urgency of affairs, some amount of unwilling participation in the political system seems to be necessary. That’s why I think electoral citizens assemblies and even worker assemblies that are treated as duties and act like paid jury duty will be essential. These can be advocated for and implemented in our current system with education and activism, at least under current circumstances. Revolution and violence tends to color its followup with those same forces. If there’s any literature on how revolutionary violence dismantled itself after a period of revolution I’d love to read it.
