Citroën Project C60, 1960 Citroën had allowed a vast chasm to emerge between the evergreen 2CV, and their flagship DS/ID models. A new model was planned to bridge this gap in their range. With audacious styling by Flaminio Bertoni, and an ambitious technical specification, it was to prove a much more ambitious project than originally thought. The Ami 6 which appeared the following year borrowed more than a few ideas—particularly the reverse-raked rear window and faired-in rear wheels—and used the familiar, although upgraded, 2CV mechanicals. The gap in the Citroën range would not be fully fulfilled until the release of the GS in 1970. #citroën #citroen #citroënc60 #citroenc60 #flaminiobertoni https://www.instagram.com/p/B1i_lkkFegS/?igshid=5053r2adq3o4
