Regarding Citrus Thunder

I have been pondering on writing this post for quite a while right now, but after talking to my korean friend who sued Polar Light, I decided to man up and write about my issue with Citrus Thunder as well, to warn others.

First of all I have to say she seemed to be the most politest and open minded one when it comes to oversea fans and her english is really good - I can’t say she has been talking to me rudely BUT I have never received my photobook in the end.

So here is my story.

I emailed her way after I ordered her photobook with my friend together and suggested a birthday project idea that included her Chennie Duck and all of international fandom. She seemed to really love the idea and so we exchanged kakao talk IDs and chatted from time to time. I really grew to like her as a friend and send her german sweets about to times because I was also very grateful to her for being so supportive of Jongdae.

She kept saying how she’ll send me some extras for free for sending her sweets and I told her that wasnt necessary, to just send me the photobook like everybody else.

The first time the photobook was delayed I didn’t worry at all because I knew she was busy and it can happen to everyone.

Then....the excuses started, I’m friends with so many Jongdae stans and there is just no way I wouldn’t figure it all out in the end. Two Singapore group orders, one American/Canadian one and A LOT OF oversea buyers have yet to receive their photo books and CT kept on making up excuses like, “It’s the companies mistake who was supposed to ship it out, the photobooks were stolen by other master, the address the group order provided was incorrect (as if) etc.

YES, she did refund me and the others BUT in my case I clearly told her I wouldn't want a refund and wait for her to reprint/send me the photobook because I promised my friend who ordered with me that she would get it in the end. So CT kept telling me how I am her “best friend” and she feels bad for making me pay for it anyways - so she would just send it to me for free after sending us an refund.

I have been waiting since two months now, everytime I message her she either ignores my kkt message or makes up things like, she send it, or she was in the US or she was out of the city with her parents and I’m just so tired of it.

I really love her photos and videos but she acted really irresponsible and unprofessional towards IFans and I’d like to warn oversea fans to be careful and think twice before ordering anything from her.

She always joins so many projects without finishing up others, she told other IFAns that she would send “goodies” because she was sorry for not sending the photobook but she never did so far.

CT shouldn’t be working on new projects but grow some balls and finish up/clear up the photobook issue.

If she had been honest with all of us right from the beginning, like she underestimated the demand and has to reprint THEN IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM AT ALL!

But all her lies and empty promises leave me with a sore taste in my mouth. The last time she msged me was when she returned from Japan, she even promised to meet up with me in Korea but  I highly doubt it. I guess even the word friendship doesnt mean anything to her.

Ps. And I’d like to point out that she is indeed a very busy person, she goes to university and all - and I wouldnt go as far as to say that she is a bad person but the way she handled this issue and treated me - made me really sad and disappointed
