He’s actually glad when the light changed and he gets to drive away because he’s been mortified by his response.  If he was Lacey, he would’ve smiled invitingly and offered to take Hot Mechanic for a ride in it sometime, but he’s not.  He’s just Tad, who speaks before he thinks and says stupid shit to painfully hot guys who are trying to be nice. (x)

Tad is still my favorite because he’s the most #relatable character in the whole damn story and y’all are sleeping on how wonderful and gay my good, good boy is.

Hi nonnie!  I don’t know what I’ve done to get you out for my blood with these questions, but I can take a whack at them in the most deliberately vague manner possible to avoid starting drama or discourse or what-have-you.

What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?There are… a lot… of these that I don’t…get.  At all.  I mean, I can appreciate where people are coming from with these ships but also, like, I don’t get it.  I ship them because I feel like I have to, otherwise I’m not fandoming right or something.  

Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?I’m not sure how popular they actually are, but I see a lot of them and I’m not really sure why that is.  I don’t see it, and to be completely honest I actively avoid them on AO3 and have some of them blacklisted on Tumblr.  It’s not even an active dislike, it’s just a very sincere “thanks I hate it” that I don’t expose myself to unnecessarily unless it’s taking a major backseat to one of my OTPs in a really excellent fic. Most disliked character(s)? Why?“Disliked” is a very strong word for characters I’m completely ambivalent about.  There’s no negative emotion in play here, I just plain don’t think about certain characters very much, even though I like them well enough, and even though they’re arguably protagonist-equivalent in terms of importance.Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? SO I know this is from forever but I definitely care about Tad Carruthers and his future way more than I think I'm supposed to, given that CiYH isn't even about him

Oh nonnie, we’re cut from the same cloth.  Tad is my actual flesh-and-blood Super Gay son and I love him to itty-bitty, teeny-tiny, theater geek pieces.  I had have such plans for Tad.  If only I could get back to writing any of them down.

Yes, he does, and yes, they do.  Only a couple of them would be receptive to hugs and/or therapy, and Tad is one of them.  He’s a huggy psych major.

I did a thing.   This was my CiYH/aesthetic sideblog I abandoned for like six months, so I decided to put it to temporary use before I go back to ignoring that it exists and/or deleting it.  Feel free to follow and engage with it--if anyone does, I may keep it around just for occasional use?
