😲Man...before people would send nme apps that stole some of my profile pictures, out watermarka on them and sold them as stock photos, and I had to laugh, because today I saw a group on FB for suggestions, and I was like wait a second, that looks like my gym. I know that Shark Tank of a blue ocean floor anywhere, and the photo filters I use a lot. So now some manufacturer done stole my profile pic haha. Well, I guess free advertising for us at #CJJF, BUT yeah, these folks did NOT make our uniforms. I am so PROUD of the Martinez family, and so privileged to be a part of their journey for the last 3 years. Miguel, Jacky, Miguel Jr. (Mikey), Jiraiya and Marcus, you have been an amazing part of this academy from day one, coming from CJJF HQ in Hawaii. Supportive and positive, pushing me, and the team to be better coaches everyday. Whether in BJJ, MMA or Capoeira, you all gave nothing less than 100%. You fought through tears, bumps, and bruises and won so many medals in BJJ that I lost count. Even right before COVID Mikey and Jiraiya became ALL-Japan BJJ champions up in Tokyo. As you move on to your next mission, just know you are all, always in my heart and on my mind. ALSO, super congratulations to Miguel Sr. on occasion of your purple belt promotion in BJJ. (He was supposed to be promoted in March, but couldn't make it to the ceremony due to work, and then the pandemic shut us all down, literally, a few days later).
