Sawamura is a college student struggling to balance baseball and and school work. His catcher, Chris suggests he finds a tutor and that’s where things get fun!
"How'd you do on your Anatomy midterm?"
Sawamura finished pulling his baseball jersey over his head. "I'm not sure" he mused. "I wonder if the grades are posted yet." Reaching into his locker, he fished his phone out of his gym bag and swiped over to the blackboard app to see that the grades had indeed been posted. With a sinking heart, he saw the 67 — barely passing. He held it up to show his catcher.
"Ouch," Chris whistled. "And your average wasn't that great to start with."
"I knowww!" Tears practically streamed down Sawamura's cheeks. "What am I gonna do?"
Chris smiled kindly. "I wish I could help you study but between my own classwork and baseball, I'm barely keeping my head above water. Maybe you could get a tutor?"
Gratitude shined in Sawamura's eyes. "That's a great idea, Chris-senpai! I’ll give it a shot."
