Anyways if you get one of those asks ESPECIALLY if they tell you only to answer privately, and it's usually some random pet + bill because they know that gets the most pity but I've seen ones where they just steal hospitalized people's pictures too, it's usually a scam. The best thing to do is go to their blog and see how far you can scroll - like literally if their blog is only a few days old and doesn't have like a huge amount of content and it's all sort of random/innocuous fandom posts, they're doing like the bare minimum to appear like a real person. if you're still not sure, search their paypal name literally anywhere. don't let these kinds of people exploit your kindness
