It was yet another busy day at the castle for the young scientist. However, since his heart was recompleted, he had been working non-stop. It was more or less an elephant in the room for the youth. He hadn’t spoken to anyone about how the shift had changed him or how he was handling having a heart.
With more than a year passing by, his mentors had a word with him during their usual meetings in the morning. He thought they were going to talk to him about their latest project. But that was far from the truth. It was Ansem the Wise that made the mention that Ienzo should have some time off to himself. Ienzo thought he was being punished, as he was told to not spend the day at the lab -- but Ansem reassured him that he was fine and just wanted him to have a little fun for once.
About an hour later, Ienzo could be found outside wearing a grey sweater with his usual purple tie and a pair of white slacks as he was going through his phone.
“What do people even do for fun these days anyways..?” he muttered to himself.
His scrolling stopped at Neku’s contact information. Well, his friend Neku was about the same age as him. Perhaps he could give him some advice?
