Aconyte Books and Marvel Reveal Four New Prose Novels for Spring 2022
Aconyte Books and Marvel Comics have revealed new prose novels from the Marvel Untold, Marvel Legends of Asgard, Marvel Heroines, and Marvel: Crisis Protocol series coming in Spring 2022.
Marvel Untold: Reign of the Devourer hails from David Annandale. Doctor Doom saw his future briefly and now he cannot rest as he obsesses about regaining those memories. His search leads him to the arcane science of geomancy. “As he delves into the ancient memories that lie beneath his land, Doom discovers a tremendous concentration of power… one that should never be explored. Doom’s excavations and necromancy fracture the prison of something awful: the Devourer of Souls.” The Devourer spreads a plague of soul-hungry vampires throughout Latveria and Doom will have to choose: seize the power for himself or destroy it before it destroys his land. Marvel Legends of Asgard: Three Swords hails from C.L. Werner. The Warriors Three are helping some rebels overthrow a tyrannical king when they meet an old mystic who has been waiting for them. “He describes to them the threat posed to Asgard by three sorcerous brothers, the Enchanters, who are each working to create an army to conquer Asgard. But the Enchanter’s towers are scattered across time and space, and the Warriors Three will have to risk life and limb to stop these sorcerers before they can overthrow Odin’s rule. But things are not quite as they seem, for in the shadows, someone is plotting against these heroes.” (Marvel Comics)

Marvel Crisis Protocol: Shadow Avengers hails from Carrie Harris. “Doctor Strange created the Shadow Avengers to save the world from Dormammu, but instead they’re on the verge of dissolution. When sudden weather anomalies across the world correspond with Asgardian heroes emerging from portals ripe with Dormammu’s magical signature, the Shadow Avengers realize the “Master” is making his move. Loki, Venom, and Green Goblin are behind a ceremony plotting to open a portal big enough to encompass Dormammu’s presence.” The Shadow Avengers will travel across the globe to stop Dormammu, but The Master may have something even greater planned to doom the world. Marvel and Aconyte Announce “The Sword of Surtur” Prose Novel
Marvel Comics and Aconyte Books’ Legends of Asgard line has announced its second book - The Sword of Surtur, by C. L. Werner.
The Sword of Surtur follows Tyr, God of War and brother of Thor, as he seeks to reclaim his glory. Tyr, Bjorn Wolfbane, and Lorelai quest to steal a sliver of Twilight, the sword of the fire giant Surtur who is destined to bring about Ragnarok.
The Sword of Surtur goes on sale in January 5, 2021.
