Cladrastis kentukea (formerly C. lutea) American Yellowwood 

Enjoying the flowers at last!    This tree doesn’t flower every year - some years a late frost claims the flower buds, others, it just doesn’t seem to feel up to a glorious display.   Very happy to finally be able to see such a beautiful display.

The flowers are sweetly fragrant and bumble bees love it too!
