Bigger is better
So here we are three weeks after opening the new studio and unbelievably this is the first time we’ve had a chance to get on with some blogging. Busy is an understatement and of course there are still lots of jobs that need finishing off as there always is with a new build but we’ve had a constant stream of clients in since 24th August.
The Business Creative were the first to sample the new larger space with our 24kw of tungsten downlight and had a successful couple of days shooting for their new range of teaching videos for kids.
Meetings followed for the rest of the week until the return of Attaboy TV filming the reveals for the current series of Wheeler Dealers. Great to have some cars on the new 5m diameter turntable!
Next it was time for a team outing to Salon Prive to take in the stunning array of cars (and boats?!) and to catch up with our friends Jim and Scott who had brought the Bienville Legacy to the show. More on that in our next blog...
Most of the following week was spent with the Bienville but we also enjoyed a white Mazda MX5 Concept Sportster that was in for a magazine shoot courtesy of Gareth The MX5 Restorer. This was the first opportunity we’d had to get down to some work in the black end of the studio, an area that allows for moodier arty shots.
As Friday came around it was Goodwood Revival time and we buzzed up there for an afternoon / evening to see what was going on. We met up with Andrea from Poppyseed Media, Emma from Luna Creative, Claire from Clarion Events and Ant Anstead in the Doom Bar in the evening to enjoy some music and much entertainment from assembled audience!
Much editing ensued over the weekend with a gig thrown in for good measure and here we are at Monday again! How did that happen??
