Being best friends for years doesn't necessarily mean you have to get together. But for Ben and Claire, it just did. On a summer break after their freshman year of college, the couple takes a long road trip, eating in cheap diners, sleeping in the back of their van and seeing as much as they possibly can before they go back to being "that girl with daddy issues trying to become a social worker" and "that boy trying to be his dad and becoming a mechanic," simply because it's not who they really want to be.
