Can I just say that I'm actually pretty happy about Clairrise's casting? I mean, they could have done a far worse job just in the trailer.
They could have:
Made her blonde and curly haired cause we all know they get the hair wrong Annabeth
Made her very thin and un-muscular.
Not even show her doing anything war-like, or athletic.
Tried to make it into a love triangle with her and percy and Annabeth
Show that Percy was beating her in that obstacle course thing.
Made her into a model.
I mean, when I saw her, the only issue I had was that she didn't have an upturned nose like in the books, but I honestly am not going to reject an actress just because of her nose. She is obviously fit and muscular, maybe not a body builder, but she had muscle. She was shown fighting, winning and basically kicking ass. So far, she's the character that the movies have gotten right so far.
