Loners:

Lionel and McDreamy got better from greencough. Umber is taking a turn for the worst. No longer quarantined, Lionel caught up with his mate Willow.

Victor and Nirvana are hitting a rocky part of their relationship, not speaking to each other. Victor’s father Snow thinks the whole ordeal is ridiculous.

Venomclaw, Jones, and Jupiter came across a dead body in the ravine, a cat that turned out to be Weaseltooth. They wonder who killed him and who he was, as Kholat’s tribe is unknown as of now.

Esther and Thane are now considered full-fledged members.

Lionel takes command as the Clans come to warn them of a new prophecy that Lionel or Umber could be killed. Jones gathers up more guards to patrol the camp and borders. McDreamy, Nirvana, Michelangelo and Jupiter keep the borders safe, while Victoria, Jones, and Snow keep the camp.

TimberClan:

Seabreeze was attacked by a ReefClan patrol after Jackalpaw told her that he saw Raintail trying to cross their borders, and she went to investigate. Seabreeze is now incapacitated in the medicine cats’ den.

Silvertooth believes Jackalpaw is nearly ready to become a warrior. Serpentstar prepares for the ceremony.

ReefClan’s medicine cat Berryfur traveled with her apprentice Duckfeather to communicate a prophecy StarClan has revealed to them: The jackal and the serpent will clash, and the island will split into four.

Serpentstar ignored the prophecy and went on with Jackalpaw’s preparation.

Opaleyes, the TimberClan medicine cat, was given the same prophecy, but instead of “serpent” - The jackal and the king will clash, and the island will split into four. Since Serpentstar is a female, Opaleyes dismissed that Jackalpaw would come after her, though that plot was likely. Serpentstar revealed that Silvertooth had full intentions to make him deputy when she is leader.

Serpentstar goes to make Jackalpaw a warrior, but learns that he and the other apprentices have left camp for something. They send a patrol to find them and bring them back.

The apprentices come back catatonic, claiming that ReefClan was being attacked. All are reprimanded for trespassing.

Serpentstar forbids Jackalpaw from becoming a warrior until he’s shown any form of humility, as he hasn’t showed any his entire life. She orders that a patrol be sent for aid after the fossa have cleared the territory.

ReefClan:

Tinystar and Wolfpelt notice that prey has been slaughtered and left on their borders, and prepares to ask TimberClan and the loners whodunnit at the next gathering.

Berryfur communicated the prophecy to the rest of the clan to see what they think. Lochberry and Boarhead immediately call Jackalpaw out and think that the TimberClan’s king vs jackal could mean that Jackalpaw could kill Tinystar or Umber and Lionel. They warn the loners that Jackalpaw’s warrior ceremony could be trouble.

Coincidentally, fossa, strange dog-cat hybrid-looking things, invaded ReefClan camp while chanting something about Khol or Kholat. Raintail heard this, disregarding it as foreign talk. Duckfeather, Wolfpelt and Berryfur were wounded. Willowstorm was wounded defending Gingerface and the kits, but the fossa got away with Patchkit and Coralkit’s bodies and kidnapped Tigerkit and Boltkit. Yewfoot and Boarhead were killed.

Tinystar, Lochberry and Wolfpelt fight against the leader, the inner brain of them, and Wolfpelt is thrown hard against a rock, shattering two of his legs and his hip.  Lochberry defended Tinystar with his life, able to leap onto the fossa’s back as it grabbed Tinystar. He was too late, the fossa literally decapitating their leader.

KHOLAT:

Cairo, growing more on edge, gathers a pack of fossa orchestrated by the mafia. An unknown cat provides the fossa. Cairo sends them to the Clans, able to find the beach-and-cave-dwelling ReefClan but they couldn’t track down TimberClan until finding a scent on the edge of the border. Slowly they track the apprentices’ scents back to TimberClan camp. The loners are safe for now.

Stallion feels remorse, and tells Cairo that the fossa was a bad idea, and that the Clans could track the fossa back to the mystery tribe. Cairo disagrees, saying that their time to be known has come, and says that StarClan came to her in a dream and told her of a prophecy, that the jackal would clash with the serpent king and the island would split into four. Stallion and Frostheart have differing opinions, Frostheart believing the prophecy because she believes in StarClan. Stallion dismisses it, going with Cairo’s orders, and tells the tribe to mutilate prey and leave it at the Clan borders. They do.

The fossa return with beat-up kits, Boltkit and Tigerkit. Cairo changes her mind, instead of killing the kits she adopts them as her own. She’s expecting more from TimberClan, fully thinking now that she could train the Clan’s own kits to fight against their family, without even knowing their own family.

The fossa return with Kestrelpaw, a new apprentice. Her legs have been broken so she can’t escape. Cairo decides to use Kestrelpaw as bait and ransom.

Kholat - A mystery cat had influenced the opinions of Cairo, causing her to go on edge with whispers of an impending challenge for leader. In her suspicion, Weaseltooth has been slaughtered and Stallion given Quartermaster rank. First mate is up for grabs, and Voodoo and Blind Mist are readying themselves to fight for the position.

TimberClan - new medicine cat apprentice,  Bramblepaw, replaces Blackmoon.

ReefClan -  Berryfur retired to elder. Duckpaw is the new medicine cat, now Duckfeather.

Loner clan - Umber, Lionel, Victor and Erinyes fell sick to whitecough. Moor is working tirelessly for a cure and is traveling to Kholat for aid, and McDreamy to the Clans for aid and herbs. Willow is acting leader for now.

so, horrible death.  of ReefClan, Pebblekit, Lionpaw, and Parrotkit died of greencough :( Cherrypaw and Yewpaw were made warriors: Cherryleap and Yewfoot.

of TimberClan. Leopardpaw and Snowberry drowned in a surprise high tide, and Blackmoon overdosed on his own herbs. Crowkit, Kestrelkit and Bramblekit are now apprentices.

of the loners, Lionel and Willow are expecting. Knight has died of old age. Donatello was bitten by a snake and died.

Misc.:

*Overhauled my rookery thread. I'm offering reserves on several Iri/Shim, Iri/Shim+Tiger/Shim and Iri/Shim+Iri/Stripes Imperial breedings (275k), as well as a pale-coloured Iri/Shim Skydancer pair (150k). I've taken down formal reserves for other breeds, simply because there really isn't a lot of interest in reserving Commons these days! BUT I've added a full list of my breeding pairs with colour outcomes, so that if people are interested, I can ping them when babies are due and we can work something out!

*I've had to add a disclaimer about nests getting booned due to the insanely high price of Boons of Fertility now. :< Though, part of that involves the option for a reserve to pay with a Boon, in part, and being guaranteed the first pick regardless of the order in which they paid! So that's something? :S
