From what I can tell most of the important gods have animorphic features (animal head or other features)
So here are some of my halfbaked wip on the deities and their structure. The hierarchy of the gods is similar to the clans of the chasind:
Tuathal ‘The All Father’:
Kind of like the Andrastian Maker, he is the chieftain of all the gods and the creator of the world. He is often pictured with an eagles head, adorned in chieftain garb with his hands open palm up. In the stone palms of his statues the chasind tend to place rich soil in one hand and a bowl of water in the other. Alternatively they will also place seeds and prized herbs. The All Father is associated with leadership, wisdom, justice, fatherhood and the sun.
Dáirine ‘The Hearthmother’:
She is the wife of the All Father, often pictured with the head of a bear with the body of a pregnant woman, breasts bare. In her arms is an infant and her hips are wide and adorned with beads. The chasind tend to burn incense at her feet and leave small offerings of food. The Hearthmother is associated with familial protection, fertility, motherhood, protection of children and the moon.
Saor ‘The Crafter’:
The first offspring of the All Father and Hearthmother, Saor is the god of creation and ingenuity, he gifts chosen individuals with inspiration for inventions. He is often depicted with a cat’s head on a man’s body sometimes with a tail, sometimes not. It seems to be up to artistic interpretation. In his right hand is a hammer the other is palm up where Chasind smiths often place fine trinkets of their making. He is associated with creativity, blacksmiths, construction and art. His portraits are often the most colorful.
