Humans had no actual worth for him ( past the obvious of, rather, insufficient bouts of entertainment ), and would find no real acceptance in the Vampire’s vicinity, if not coming forth with request that enkindled hard to provoke interest. This one, as unexpected as it may appear to be, had managed exactly that in subtly handing over that world of his yet still unknown to the representative by name and culture. Enough to evoke that hard to hold attention past the curls of cigarette smoke wafting through slightly opened window. Enough to truly incite a conversation now that this guest of his had taken place, waiting for ( truly jarring ) silence to subside with the small lingering exhale.
The silence that hadn’t permit communication past greeting---
“So your request, from what I took from that message of yours, is to garner aid with the ‘supernatural’ in your districts.” Brief of a summary, the way singular words would be emphasised was hardly placed to hide a tone of amusement. Supernatural, inhumane - words that meant nothing to the monarch, albeit his whole world revolves around it. The feeling of ridicule to lace over each word, for how deliberately taunting may his presence truly be. “Pray tell - what nature do those be haunting that place of yours~”
