It’s almost August and my July Spotify playlist is shit. I have like literally almost 300 songs on my June playlist and I slllaacccckkkeeddd with this months. Hopefully August gets me musically inspired, because apparently June sucked it all out of me
I Put A Spell On You - Screamin’ Jay Hawkins (I started making a playlist called Hot Cider and Crispy Leaves because I am always in the mood for it to be Fall, but it’s actually ALMOST time for Fall, so I have been so into Halloween music and movies. I’m ready to bust out my room decorations. And who doesn’t love this song? Come on)
St. Elmo’s Fire (Man In Motion) - John Parr (okay, so let me get one thing straight. This movie fucking sucks. It sucks major balls. I hate it a lot. I hate all the characters, and I hate who played them (not the actors themselves, but I just don’t think that they fit who they were playing), and I hate the story line, and I hate the ending. I love 80′s movies and music, but I cannot stand that fucking movie. The only good thing to come out of that disaster was this song. It is a freaking BOP. One of the best 80′s songs to exist)
Heaven - Kane Brown (I love listening to this song with headphones because it’s such a soft, personal, intimate song. So. Fucking. Cute.)
The Rush - Clara McHugh (the viral Facebook video of the beautiful, heartfelt, heartbreaking song that I absolutely fell in love with. I watched the video so many times and was so happy that it was on Spotify)
