45. Do you want to be remembered after your death? What for?
Oh straight to death huh! I think I’d like to be remembered fondly for a while after my death, by loved ones for being a generally cool person I guess. I’d also like to have done something semi-interesting, but I’m not someone who’s really wants to be like eternal in memory so I’d like for the thing I do to be useful and remembered, but I’m okay if my name stops being associated with it.
The theory about three deaths (physical (uh no more heartbeat), ceremonial (burial, cremation, etc), and social (no one living remembers you)) really made me think for a while and made me realize I don’t really want to be remembered for that long. I feel like I’d rather be a fond feeling, not necessarily a memory. Idk if that makes sense but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
