With the recent Supreme Court ruling in mind, I’ll never quite understand what makes Clarence Thomas tick. But self-loathing comes to mind. Clarence Thomas is the most unlikely white supremest on earth.
He hangs out with a white billionaire named “Crow” (of all things) — a man who collects pastoral scenes painted by Adolf Hitler. A man who has regularly had cases that have come up before the Supreme Court…
…and voilà! Magically all of Clarence Thomas’s bills are paid — including liens on his mother’s house.
What a failure of a man!
But we see this regularly in the Republican Party. I am at a loss to see what conservatives are conserving other than their own obscene wealth, while bamboozling the dumbest constituents in American history.
Self hatred seems to be a reoccurring theme that’s the glue in today’s GOP.
When was the last time that Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz lifted a finger to help Hispanics?
What exactly has Stephen Miller done to erase antisemitism?
When was the last time Susan Collins voted to protect women’s rights?
Trump and Vance are married to immigrants, but champion policies that materially harm immigrants.
And Lindsay Graham barely rustles his crinolines while speaking out against LGBTQ+ civil liberties.
The Republican Party is the party of blatant hypocrisy and hate. The GOP hasn’t been the party of Lincoln since shortly after his final visit to the Ford Theatre!
Meanwhile, MAGA Republicans consistently vote counter to their own best interests for the shallow pleasure of “owning the libs” and the weird privilege of getting permission from Trump himself, to hate and wail on vulnerable minorities.
