Minsa’y may dumapong alitaptap

sa aking pag-iisa’t pagmulat

kumakaway-kaway, kumukurap-kurap

habang ningas niya’y may gustong isiwalat.

Batid ko ang taglay niyang ganda

sa gabing dilim lang ang makikita

ngunit sa dala niyang liwanag

pati hamog ay isisilid

sa init ng kalungkutang ‘di ko batid.

  Sadyang mapaglaro ang alitaptap

iniikot, nililipad ang espasyong

likha ng hangin at ulap

sinusubukan pati aking ningas

kahit sabihan kong sa aki’y umiwas.

  “Wag kang lumapit

‘pagkat lubha akong mainit

masusunog ‘di lang pakpak

mawawala pati halakhak.”

  Ngunit hindi nagsalita ang alitaptap

dali-daling bumugso, mabilis na lumapat

ang mumunting katawan sa ningas kong

sumira ng lahat.

  Minsa’y may dumapong alitaptap

sa buhay nating lahat

sa kanyang pag-iisa

hiling ay kanyang pagmulat.#

A wish to Heaven

Heaven oh Lord, Please let this little girl's wish to happen...

Even just for today...

Even just for a second...

May you grant her request for this very special day...

I know that you're the only one who have power to do this...

For you are our Almighty Father...

Lord God, this little girl is crying ...

For she lose track of her PAPA's footsteps in the sand...

Now, she has no one to lead her in her way...

Different sand storms had come, yet she is still in the spot where she lose track of her papa's footsteps...

Still believing that her Papa will go back and lead her again to the right way...

Standing alone in a dessert place...

Waiting...

Longing to see again the back of her Papa...

Her Papa's back which served as a shield in every sand storms that came and shade her in the hotness of sun...

Now, she has no one to shield and shade her...

She is now on her own to protect herself...

She know that she must continue walking even without her papa's footstep to lead her...

But this little girl is so stubborn for she still believe that her papa will get her...

So, Lord in Heaven, my Father God,

Let this little girl see again her Papa even in her dream...

Let her be talk to her Papa...

For her to continue walking...

For her to make her own footsteps in the sand that other people will follow too...

Jesus, my father god....

Please grant this little girl's wish...

This little girl that was living inside me...
