Ya’ll I know I never post on here anymore anyway but heads up to the readers of the fic, definitely gonna be on another hiatus for the foreseeable future.
That’s because my partner and I were asked to take custody of our nephew again. It’s been over 5 years since we’ve had him, and unfortunately the original success of the last family reunification didn’t last. He’s been having a tough go of it lately so we’ll need to be locked tf in on him and his needs for a while.
But as shitty as the circumstances are that led to this, we are honestly so relieved to soon have him back in a stable and loving home with us. We’re looking forward to returning to the fulfilling work of raising him.
But yeah definitely gonna be in auntie/mom mode moving forward, so writing’s only gonna get done in those 5 minutes in bed before I pass out from exhaustion each night lmao. Anyway, wish us luck on the 17 hr roadtrip to go pick our nephew up and keep him in your thoughts! He’s got a lot of adjusting and healing ahead of him.
