oh no :( why don't you wanna be apart of the fandom?

because i don’t like everyone’s attitude. for all the “lets all be friends and not attack (insert any character here)!!!!!!” talk that goes around, it’s like 90% people being unapologetically rude as shit, and subsequently really immature about it. plus there’s a lot of obsession with shipping the actual actors, which i really don’t like, especially in a fandom that doesn’t seem to have much of a filter. plus everyone likes to make really totalizing statements about little things that happen, and everyone vehemently backs up their opinion to the death without considering they’re losing it over a webseries. plus, carmilla isn’t my fave?? my any stretch of the imagination?? and i love her for all her flaws, and watching everyone erase her tendency towards a selfish and shitty nature (which is what actually makes her compelling) they like to reduce her to “useless lesbian!! so whipped lovestruck girlfriend lmao!!! ohh uwu kitty baby!!”

basically the fandom is very black and white in everything it does and i’m not about that polarized lifestyle
