dcmarvelexchange: clark/oliver fic
Reveals were made for the dcmarvel exchange and shockingly, my fic was the Clark/Oliver one. Totally off brand, of course lol Title: let's give them something to talk about (how about love) Fandom: Smallville Pairing/Characters: Clark/Oliver, Lois Rating: PG-13 Word Count: 10604 Summary: When Clark and Oliver's relationship is exposed by the media, they're both surprised, as they aren't even dating. But when it proves beneficial to pretend, especially with Martha's reelection campaign approaching, they go along with the charade. What's the worst that could happen? A/N: for shopfront
How many missed calls? Did he even know that many people? Clark was still in the process of waking up, but tried to focus one what was going on, dread filling his entire being as he scrolled through the missed calls, to see that Lois, Oliver, and even his mom had tried to reach out multiple times. Choosing to call his mom first, he tried to reassure himself that if something had really happened, they would’ve at least yelled for him rather than trying to reach out this way. She picked up on the second ring. “Clark?” “Mom,” he said, keeping his voice steady. “I saw you called. Is everything okay?” “Oh, sweetie, I’m fine,” Martha replied, and he released an unintentional breath of relief. “I don’t know how to tell you this but … did you see the Inquisitor this morning?” That was not the direction he expected the conversation to go in. “No,” he said slowly. “I just got up. What happened?” There was a long pause and then. “Well … Clark, you made the front page.” He blinked multiple times, processing the thought. “Me? Why?” “They claim you’re in a relationship … with Oliver. And it’s picked up some traction since.” Read on AO3
clark/oliver fic
Title: you don’t need to race (i’m already yours) Fandom: Smallville Pairing/Characters: Clark/Oliver, Tess Rating: PG Word Count: 2247 Summary: Clark finds Oliver asleep at Watchtower A/N: for my 25fluffyfics table (LJ), prompt: blankets
He watched Oliver for a few moments, expression openly affectionate in a way he didn’t allow it to be when the other man was awake, before spinning around, and barely managed to restrain from gawking.
At some point, Tess had shown up, a cup of coffee in her hands, her expression amused as she stared at him. She was like a cat, stealthy as can be, but he really should’ve been more aware of his surroundings.
“Hey, Tess,” he greeted her, hoping she hadn’t been standing there long or that she wouldn’t read too much into the situation. “You know, if you’re not careful, he is going to notice,” she replied. She was smiling, but her tone was gentle, which actually made him feel worse.
“There isn’t anything to notice,” Clark insisted, but he couldn’t even convince himself.
She took a sip of her coffee and raised an eyebrow. “You want to try that again?”
“Not particularly,” he admitted. “There’s, it’s fine, I have it under control.”
