It wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t. It would just look too weird to me.

I was originally thinking that they wouldn’t, either, but given that they actually came through and made a dogs/cats thing, I’m assuming that the bit of coding for horses that was leaked is actually going to amount to something too. Plus them releasing horses separately would fit in with their general model of splitting up EPs (i.e. fish tanks being in the spa one) and charging the same amount of money for less content per expansion/stuff pack. I agree tho, I can’t see it looking good.

Unfortunately I don’t have the skills to mesh, and I don’t think it’s possible to reins that fit a sim’s hands when they’re posed because of the differences in hand location/angle for every pose + the way the game’s programmed to think where ‘real’ reins “should” be. I may not be correct, though, so you could probably get a more confident answer (or at least a more detailed explanation) from someone like Annie (who runs SLS) or Elin Fredriksdotter.

Aside from meshing, though, I do take suggestions for face markings/object retextures!
