Judge. Jury. Executioner.

I got possessed into drawing this

The line art is messy if you look closely, but--I wanted to draw this concept because: 1, Fucking HL got the "Judge, Jury, Executioner" shit stuck in my brain, but mainly 2--Ayano's role in Class 49's KG.

A special rule and role was placed upon her--one that prevents others from killing her or from her killing herself. This is because without her, the trials Monokuma made especially for Class 49 just wouldn't work.

After all, he's gotta use the "Ultimate Judge" to her full potential, right?

So he forces her to make the final decision during each trial. It's not a majority vote, but rather, the class must convince her who the culprits are, and she submits her judgement based upon how well the class can convince her.

This does, unfortunately, mean that she is also the single person who condemns people in her class to Executions. Hence the "Judge, Jury, Executioner".

I gave her a cloak for Drama :'D The shading also might not make a total lot of sense but it's for DRAMA.

Anyway It's 5:40 AM what am I doing with my life--wait I did this in like 4 hours?! What?!?!

Finally a design to pair with the story.

I finally am making more characters with light colored hair!!! I need to make more characters with light colored hair.

I'm also debating on if there should be any characters with unnatural colored hair. I've gotten so used to designing "natural" looking characters that I'm like "Oh no, my characters don't look all that DR--"

Also the poll here has "Ward" winning as his last name by a large margin, and while I think "Goodman" is pretty ironic, I do feel like it would make him feel a little too ace attorney. xD

I might be shipping Aaron and Jaden WAY more than I should be--

Anyway just a 30 minute doodle of Aaron when he first meets Jaden and has a "Oh no he's hot" panic attack because this man has never found anyone to be hot before, let alone ever had an instant crush on someone before.

I took old art, tweaked it, and made it new art.

Anyway!

This is Jaden specifically at HPA/in High school. No piercings, no beard, no shaven brow. He also wore his hair in twists in High school a lot so I brought those back. Honestly I might just keep them because while I haven't mastered actually drawing them yet, I think this just looks more like "Jaden" than him with the puff. IDK!! It's weird!!

Regardless!

I also think I'm gonna finally say that the gloves he gets from Miu are gonna be replaces with... idk, a camera in his necklace. I tried putting gloves on him and they just looked wrong. He still has a Sign to Speech device made by Miu tho, and so long as it's breakable then!!! Idc if it's gloves or a hidden camera. Ehehehe.

I cannot help myself sometimes I just obsess over Ayano wdywfm Like--

Look at this face. Can you really resist this face? She's so sweet looking. I love her ribbony-thin hair. Love her???

Anyway why is it that anything I touch either turns into boots or blue plaid. I cannot contain myself. Please Send Help. I'm obsessed with blue plaid.

I decided to give Ayano a redesign for the outfit she wears under her judge robes--and I think the skirt with suspenders and a blouse fit her a lot more than the dress I originally gave her.

IDK if she "looks like a DR character"--but tbh, I kinda like the vibe she has. Simple and cute. Sort of like Maki's design actually--simple and not very stand-outish.

Honestly though, man, comparing my art from years ago to my art now--DAMN I've IMPROVED. The post isn't as dynamic (wasn't really going for dynamic here) but the overall look is like. Better? Improved. Hard to explain.

Anyway, enjoy her as much as I do.

Redesign! :DDD I made her look like a fancy judge. She ties up her sleeves at the end to give them a different shape, but when shes in court, she'll untie them and look like a regular judge.

I've been obsessing over the song "Copycat" recently, and TBH, I think it suits Ayano really well.

She was born and raised to a single parent household, and her parent really wanted her to be a judge. She really didn't have a choice in the matter, so she became a judge. However, other people expected her to be different things, and she didn't really know who to be. So she just sort of imitates others now.

Jaden with a new hair style!!!!

While I’m suuuch a big fan of the floofy big curls... I always felt like Jaden’s hair wasn’t like... well, it’s hard to explain? I guess I started worrying too much that people would roll their eyes at how I drew his hair before, because they might not realize that his OG hair style was intended to be a hair style Jaden kept and maintained due to it being sentimental with his elder sister.

With my recent upgrade in drawing hair, however, I felt like he deserves a proper hair style. And thus, the twists! I think that’s what these are called? That’s what the lady in the video called them dnsjdnjsadnka but they can be dreads lbr. Still! I think Jaden looks a lot better with this hair style. TBH I was gonna try multiple natural black hairstyles on him, but this one just kind of stole the show and I took hours drawing it :’D Rip

Doesn’t he look better now though? I think he does.
