How did you fix your clash?

I couldn’t do anything myself, as unfortunately we don’t have access to manual override on CAS. I emailed the address given at the top of the page when viewing a particular unit, and they semi-fixed it up for me. I think for now, that’s all you can do.

how do i fix clashes in my schedule? is there a way to force cas to accept some clashes?

I’m sorry Anon, I’m having the same trouble, and I just watched this YouTube video on it, which wasn’t very helpful either. I guess the only thing we can do is to email those people it says we should.

Did we have CAS last sem? I entirely forgot how I enrolled last sem.

No, CAS is new this semester. Last semester was OLCR.

When do they release the final timetable and when do we start choosing the desired class schedules?

I’m assuming you’re a returning student, as a new student wouldn’t even know if they’d gotten in yet. CAS (the new Class Allocation system) opens on Friday the 18th (this Friday) at 10am, and is open until sometime in late January. You choose your class schedule through this. The timetables are released in the first week or so of February (they make it indeterminate at this point, saying 3-4 weeks before classes start), accessible again on CAS. If you didn’t get a good timetable, you still have time to change your schedule around, depending on class availability.

If I have assumed wrong and you are a new student next semester, I don’t know exactly what happens for you guys. When I went through, we got our UWA offers in the mail and online in mid-January, and the letter in the mail had instructions on how to register your online account, enrol in all your classes, and choose your timetable.
