How to steer - Free Video

Each week A-Class Driving School adds a new video to their Facebook Business Page and this week sees a short clip on how to steer using the push pull method.  It's something that the DSA will expect all candidates to use on their driving test, keeping both hands on the wheel to ensure maximum safety.  Crossing of the hands like a racing driver is frowned upon and could lead to poor positioning resulting in a dangerous situation.  Meaning a major fault and a fail.  So if you're a little unsure, or just can't visualise it, click here to full access to this video and more at A-Class Driving School's video page. Hannah passes first time!

Congratulations to Hannah for passing her practical test with A-Class Driving School yesterday at Bristol's Southmead test centre.  She passed first time, despite being very nervous, with a hand full of minors.  She managed to hold it together, and despite being convinced she'd failed, she remembered my golden words of advice "Never give up.  Carry on Trying your hardest.  You'll be amazed at what you can get away with."  And on returning to the the TC, she was pleasantly surprised to find out she'd passed.   Hannah becomes the third pass in two weeks for me and the fifth for A-Class Driving School in July. Well done Hannah, see you on the road.

Amazing Week

It's been an another amazing week for Bristol's A-Class Driving School.  Despite having tickets for the 5th day of the cricket and not being able to go, I'm still able to smile after all the hard work the A-Class Driving School team has put in has paid off.  Erin, Hannah, James and now Euan have all passed their driving tests in the past 7 days and we've managed to collect six 5 star reviews in the past 10 days.  Have a read of how much our students thought of us and our teaching here. Personally, I've had 14 tests now since the beginning of March and have seen only one student fail (Curse that pedestrian running out in the rain with a hood up and not looking before crossing the road).  I think this is a new P.B for me.  Especially seeing as I was out of the country for pretty much the whole of April too.  Students, on average, seem to be passing with just 5 minors.  I'm pretty pleased with that. New Video Added - Turn in the road

A-Class Driving School has added another new video to their video Facebook page.  This week, learner drivers can get access to this in the car tutorial on how to perform the turn in the road exercise (often known as a three point turn).  The video includes commentary and annotations on the finer points on performing this maneuver perfectly in the eyes of the DSA.
