bumping into a cute girl, you find yourself falling for the mysterious stranger. REPOSTED
♫ Day to night to morning, Keep with me in the moment, I'd let you had I known it, Why don’t you say so? Didn’t even notice, no punches there to roll with; You got to keep me focused, You want? Say so... The music filled your ears as you walked into a nice café, the glitter of pastel pinks and blues blur your vision as you look around the small shop, the area was well kept with not much workers filling the kitchen as well as the counter. There wasn’t much customers on line or in the dining area, which gave you a peace of mind.
the person in front of you finished with their order, you took a minute to glance up at the cute menu displayed above the register. Luckily for you, there wasn’t anyone waiting behind you. Your brows creased in a furrow as you decide which drink and dessert you want to order. Finally gathering your thoughts, you walked closer and placed your order.
“I would like a iced milk tea and a strawberry 🍓 and peach 🍑 tres leche cake 🍰 please.” you smiled,
Reaching down to your purse, you pulled out your wallet and unzipped the zipper to pull out your credit card. Handing her the small money card, she slides it through the slot and turns the tablet towards you to sign before returning your card back to you. Taking the receipt, you walked over to the seating area, scanning the area for a vacant table. Spotting one towards the window, you head over there when someone caught your eye.
She sat in the booth across the table with a group of her friends laughing about something you assumed to be a joke or a funny face one of her friends made of some sort. Her hair was short in a beautiful purple tone, and she had such unique downward triangular-shaped eyes, your sight was cut short when you saw her turning her attention towards you. Quickly taking a seat in the chair, you placed your bag against the table, and the receipt on the surface of the glass that sat above the wooden table, trapping the photos of previous customers and their friends in between the surface.
“one milk tea, and a strawberry and peach tres leche.” one of the workers called,
Upon hearing your order, you stood up and walked towards the front, but when you go there the girl you set your eyes upon was reaching the milk tea before she backed away, apologizing. Looking over towards her, you glanced at her outfit. She wore a yellow tank with a band design over a pair of black jean shorts. Her cheeks were flushed as she glanced away from you, probably embarrassed that she mistaken her order.
“oh, it’s no problem! It seems like we have similar tastes. Here, take it. I’ll wait for mine.” you handed her the plate and spoon with a few napkins, flashing her a smile before reaching to grab some utensils for yourself.
Walking your way to your table, you looked over to the table to see her friends asking a bit loudly for her liking, about what happened at the register. Her gaze flickered to match with yours before she quickly turned to her friends, with a flush on her face.
Smiling again, you stood back up to grab your order when it was once again called, but as you went to go to the counter, your receipt fell and you bend down to reach it when your eyes landed up to meet hers, but as you smile to her you notice her sight going down to the curve of your breasts that’s not well hidden under the small tank you wore. Chuckling at her behavior, blowing up in a flushed mess, you see her friends trying to cool her, you grab a straw and walked back to your seat. Placing your cake and drink in a nice position, you picked up your phone to take a few photos before slipping the recycled-paper wrapper from the compostable straw you poked the straw through the opening and brought the straw to your lips for a sip.
Satisfied, you shut your eyelids in the refreshing taste of the coolness from the heat of the glass. Opening your eyes, you set the cup down and rest your cheek on your palm and glanced down to your phone to add a caption and additional tags before posting it to your instagram.
As you scroll through your social media, liking photos from your friends and local classmates, your eyes wondered back to the female on the other table. Spotting her staring back at you, you lifted your drink and wrapped your lips around the straw and giving her a wink. You smiled to yourself, your head falling on your conjoined hands gripping the rim of your drink, your cake long eaten, when you feel a vibrate from your phone.
Looking down at the device, it was an alarm for you to head to your next class. Pulling out a piece of paper from your bag, you walked over to the table where the four females sat, you handed the female the piece of paper with your number before walking towards the door turning back as you walked giving her a signal to call you, Smiling at her flustered face and her friends giving her encouraging messages, you walked out the door.
You might have found a place to go during your break.
