#classes advice

I've been doing ballet since I was 5 so 11 years now. The studio I go to only does RAD up to level 6. I did the exam 4 years ago. After RAD you're expected to join junior professional. I took a year off but went back last year. I auditioned for junior professional but didn't get in even though they said that everyone who completes RAD gets in. Should I audition again even though I didn't get in before? It's also the only program that offers pointe at my studio and I really want to try it!

go for it! if you want to do pointe and that is the only program that offers it then go for the audition. it's better to have tried and failed than not tried at all :-) keep working to become a better dance, and good luck! :-)

I would really appreciate it if you answered :) I'm 15 years old and I just completed my first year of dance. I only took jazz class this year. I'm thinking of taking ballet next year, do you think I should? I would love to take as many classes as I wanted, but my parents can only afford one class. I'm scared to take ballet at almost 16 years old and being a new dancer because everyone will be better than me. Please help!

no problem! i definitely think you should! you can start ballet at any age tbh, and i think it's great that you're wanting to take it! it doesn't matter if others are better than you, you're there to learn and improve! just go for it :)
