Headcanon I just came up with: Sans looks chubby because his jacket and shirt froze while being curved or something since Sans is a skeleton and y'know can't feel cold (or heat) and so it gives the illusion of fatness, but when he warms up it goes flat. Sans and Papyrus's house has no heater, so it's only ten degrees warmer than the outside.
