Better late than never

When did I first hear about X Japan?  From a friend of mine whom is a fan of theirs on Youtube named DaggerKat147 When did I start taking an INTEREST in the group?  When I found about Yoshiki's solo album that came out last month and seeing a pic of him performing on his tumblr Yeah...better late than never indeed :)
