I'm not just a sucker for uplifting trance - this genre is BROAD and I love it. I think I found this from one of the oldest ASOT episodes. Seriously, going into classical trance has got to be like entering another world altogether. I love the extensive lengths and the powerful progression that they all have. It allows a whole new scope of creativity.
During a poetry session in my high school English class, we learned that "white space is sexy". A poet can take advantage of the white space around the short lines of a poem by breaking the lines and putting the space between them to emphasize the meaning behind a visual effect. The "white space" here is at 2:35, and it's the one thing that makes me love the Pulser remix even more than the original. There's so much anticipation that builds in these few quiet seconds that I swear I can feel my heart beating through it. You know something huge is coming in the song later, but you have to sit through all this silence first. Love it.
