What if Dexter is canon characters in Sonic: Dark Chronicles? Part 1

Pretty sure, Dexter was mentioned in Sonic Dark Chronicles as Amy’s fictional or faux boyfriend.

What if Dexter was not just Amy’s faux boyfriend? What if Dexter exist in one of Sonic Boom multiverse instead? 

Several Years Before

Classic Amy (the past self of Modern Amy) chased Sonic around like crazy after Classic Sonic (the past self of Modern Sonic) saved her from Metal Sonic in Sonic CD. Just as she was about to catch Classic Sonic, Amy accidentally got into an inter-dimensional portal.

“Sonic! Sonic!”, Classic Amy screamed out as she got attached to run and chase game. 

Afterward, she hugged someone similar to Sonic, Silver and Shadow only that the hedgehog figure is taller, slimmer and more of a grown up man. He was a white grey anthropomorphic hedgehog with a white chest fur on his chest surrounding his neck similar to Shadow and Silver. 

“Sonic, I got you.“, Classic Amy said excitedly. 

“I’m Dexter. Dexter the Hedgehog”, a fully grown up hedgehog said calmly. 

“Oh sorry. My name is Amy Rose.“, Classic Amy introduced herself as she got herself off from Dexter.

“I thought you’re Sonic. He’s my biggest crush”

“It’s okay. Sometimes people got me mixed up with Sonic. Anyway, introducing the Ancients Mega City Hall.”, Dexter the Hedgehog presented to her the peak of Ancients civilization.

 In Sonic Boom universe, the Ancients civilization collapse because of Lyric the Ancient’s betrayal. However, in the universe where Dexter lived, Lyric the Ancients didn't exist. Hence, the Ancients thrived as ever and the city was peaceful and technologically advanced. Futuristic city and AI robots are inseparable part of Ancients civilization. The universe is parallel to Sonic Boom universe. 

“Wow, this is amazing. It’s just different from where I live. Where I lived, everything was just different”, Classic Amy explained. 

“So you’re from different universe.”, Dexter the Hedgehog clarified. 

"another dimension? ", Classic Amy asked.

Dexter took a breathe while trying his best to explained a lost hedgehog kid. How was a 9 years old girl who just got stuck at the other dimension supposed to know about multiverse?

"Yes. You see, there are infinite amount of universes. So the dimension we live in is just part of infinite dimension that existed.", Dexter explained.

"Okay, but do sonic and I exist in this dimension as well?", Classic Amy asked.

"Yes, the other you and Sonic existed in this dimension but taller and older.", Dexter told her.

"Yay, I can't wait to meet them. Are they married? I wish they would be. Sonic always run away from me. At this point, I won't be able to marry the man of my dream unless I chase him.", Classic Amy pouted while Dexter just smiled.

"Nope, but they’re certainly in relationship.”, Dexter replied.

“Really? Can I meet them?”, Classic Amy asked.

“Sure, they’re having meeting in the Sky Citadel. I will escort you there shortly.“, Dexter assured the girl.

So there you go guys. I’m making some theories for the mentioned characters in Sonic series. This is just the first part. Get ready for the second part. Oh they’ll meet Sonic and Amy from the other dimension. Imagine how fascinating the universe was. Plus, what hold the secret in the universe and how it is related to Sonic Boom universe.
