“Skyfall” Leo is incorporating authentic vintage details on a chateau project in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. These drawings show block walls parged with mortar that conceal the heat and air condition units. Limestone pilasters with flame finials frame the ivy covered walls. The same flame finial the French used on the Statue of Liberty. The castle style walls are capped with angled limestone bricks. A heavy timbered gate with large metal studs opens for service. Paris street lanterns are mounted onto the massive parged stone chimney. Leo says all of these details are what makes the difference in his designs.
