The old Georgia State Capitol in Milledgeville. This was the seat of government for the state from 1807-1868. This was the first use of gothic revival architecture in a public building in America. The building houses a completely renovated legislative chamber, restored to its 1860 +\= appearance. The rest of the building is used as offices for the Georgia Military College.

Kingston United Methodist Church in Kingston, Bartow County was originally organized in 1845 as Connessena Methodist, two miles west of the current sanctuary that was built in 1906. The church features a large bell which was a gift of John Pendleton King who was a US senator and former president of the Western & Atlantic Railroad. The town was named for him. The bell was cast in England and was noted as “the best that can be had. Its clear musical chimes can still be heard for a radius of four of five miles”
