This is a short lineart animation tribute to the late Irish Blues Rock musician Rory Gallagher (1948-1995) , who was known by his intenses songs and performances and if were alive, he'd turn 76 years old today on March 2nd. In 1973 has released one of his most popular songs, a haunting jazz rock song called " A Million Miles Away", which is a track from his fourth studio album called Tattoo. According to his brother, Dónal Gallagher during an interview he gave in 2005, Rory was walking on the Ballycotton Cliffs when he was struck by inspiration and disappeared to write it. Dónal also tells in the interview that he was so worried about Rory's delay that he was about to call the search party out... And through this story I've decided to create my animation because this story always has moved me.
