Juan Carlos Quintero Yours presenta Quiéreme Mucho (feat. Luis Conte)
Que viva la salsa
“Yours (Quiéreme Mucho)” is Juan Carlos Quintero’s interpretation of the classic Cuban melody by Gonzalo Roig.
Rather than dramatically reworking the composition, the arrangement focuses on feel, phrasing, and ensemble interplay — allowing the melody to unfold naturally through warm guitar tone and subtle rhythmic movement.
Featuring legendary percussionist Luis Conte on timbales, the track blends Latin influence, melodic jazz sensibility, and an intimate late-night atmosphere that can connect across instrumental, crossover, and globally influenced audiences.
"This music conveys romance and passion — written in a time when songs were built on themes that transcended generations. To Justo, Luis, and every member of this incredible band — thank you. This one belongs to all of us", Juan Carlos Quintero.

A native of Colombia, Juan Carlos Quintero has spent three decades crafting a signature sound that celebrates the majestic rhythms of his homeland.
From his childhood in Medellín to the vibrant music scene of Los Angeles, Quintero’s journey is one of deep heritage fused with contemporary jazz sophistication. Quintero’s recording career began in 1990 with his self-titled debut, which featured his mentor Tommy Tedesco and established him as a staple of World and Jazz radio. Over the decades, he has maintained a prolific release schedule, including the widely celebrated Guitarra de Pasión series. His work highlights the versatility of the guitar, blending Bolero, Cha-Cha-Cha, Mambo, and Bossa Nova. His latest album, The Story of Love (May 2026), serves as a musical soundtrack to his upbringing. While his early years were spent mastering rock solos, the melodies from his parents’ piano eventually called him back to his roots. Recorded in Los Angeles with his renowned quartet, the album features legendary guest appearances by Justo Almario and Luis Conte. Beyond his solo albums, Quintero is a world-class producer and composer who has shared the stage with icons like Gato Barbieri and Poncho Sanchez. Whether he is reinventing jazz standards or presenting a romantic Cuban Danzón, Quintero’s music remains "community music with a lot of heart"—an invitation for listeners to rediscover familiar melodies in a revived, high-energy setting.
Frank Sinatra - Strangers In The Night Valentine‑Special 💞✨
Strangers In The Night 🎵 Waarom dit nummer mijn evergreen is…
Stop the Cavalry" is an anti-war song and a Christmas song written and performed by the English musician Jona Lewie, released in 1980. The first lyrics he thought of were actually 'can you stop the gallantry', about the gallant soldiers of the Crimean War and especially the charge of the Light Brigade. This later became Stop the Cavalry and I widened the perspective of the song to be about all wars and all soldiers. There is one line about the soldier being on the front and missing his girlfriend: 'I wish I was at home for Christmas.' The record company picked up on that from a marketing perspective and added a tubular bell.
