📢📢 CHEAP CLASSROOM DECORATIONS ALERT 📢📢
Hey, new teachers!! (And veterans, of course)
Are you wondering how on earth you're going to create a positive and welcoming classroom environment when you haven't even gotten paid yet? Of course, you don't need decorations to do that; your rules, procedures, and personality are much more important! But let's be real here: color theory and all that does affect people's moods, and most teachers WANT to decorate. We have to be in that classroom all day pretty much every day, and making it a place where we feel comfortable and happy is an important part of keeping our sanity (for a lot of us).
So, back to the question: how are you going to decorate your classroom if you haven't gotten paid yet??
Good news, my friend! The makers of the Happy Planner have what they are calling "teacher embellishments". It is labeled as a 41 piece set and has 9 "prints" (posters). The other 32 pieces are die cuts. They had 2 different ones. Here's the one I bought:
As you can see, it has 4 small posters, 5 larger posters, and 4 identical "pages" die cuts.
They were labeled as costing $19.99 at Michael's, but they were on sale, so I paid $13.99- WITHOUT my teacher discount OR any other coupons!!! Michael's pretty much always has coupons (usually like 20%) and the teacher discount (15%) often stacks on other sales and coupons!!
Here is the one pictured above
Here is the other one (pastel "you got this!"-style motivational posters and pencil die cuts; 53 pieces but same price)
P.S. if you can afford them, I HIGHLY recommend using the command picture hanging strips (the velcro ones) on ALL of your classroom wall stuff. You never rip your posters trying to undo the command strips and it is WAYYYYY easier to clear your walls for testing/end of year and put it back up after/the next year.
