classy-suburbia replied to your post: I read your thing about wanting to do something and help people. STOP ALL THE TALK. Go. Right now. Want to join the peace corps? Ok go! You need what, two years of college? OK GO. Want to travel? Tonight pack up your things, drive somewhere, hike a few miles more, and dont come back until Sunday. Do something. Adventures arent all big. Some start out as small as paying for the persons coffee behind you at Starbucks or staying off tumblr for a week and instead reading Anna Karenina. Go. Now.
ugh- people like this are annoying. Life is not that easy- you cant just DO things.and its your life- you are in control, you know whats best. life is hard, yo. and people like this make it harder.
To be honest, I'd give the same advice to someone like me. Sometimes, you need someone to say "It's okay that you want all these things, you're not crazy, just get out there and DO IT." But that's not what I need right now.
Me writing about wanting to travel was more about me getting out my frustration about not being able to right now more than it was about whining because I don't have the motivation to go somewhere. So don't pretend to know my life is all I'm asking, I guess...
