Ok to actually answer the question @theangrycomet asked about my take on rook 23
These are the doodles I made for the ask, and for my idea on how an au or something for this would work, read below. BD
So rook is around 2 years older than 23, at least that's what I headcannon, so he would be around 14-17 depending on how old 23 is.
Based around the world that we see 23 in earth is semi-hostile toward aliens, but then later after prime wacks some sense into 23 'cus he was kinda being a little teeny eeny bit bigoted toward aliens it becomes a neutral/safe zone like in the main show.
Though because of the lack of proper plumber outreach toward space, because I believe in the 23 timeline the plumbers kept themselfs very much as just a earth organasation and didn't go interstelar. Revonnah ended up getting invaded and having the Amber Oogia stolen and exploited faster than otherwise would have been due to the lack of support because of how traditionalist the Revonnahganders are.
So Rook and a lot of the other Revonnahans end up trying to stop the invaders but can't end up working under a edition of the mind control stuff and rook finds a way out of it but can't figure out how to get his family and the rest of Revonnah out of control.
Rook ends up becoming a stow away on one of the invader's ships and ends up making it to earth in a black market shipment and manages to get off. At this point its probably been about a year sense Prime and 23 met so the tales had started to spread and such so Rook has spent his time hoping to find 23 (maybe crushing if you want to write it like that) and ask him for his help in liberating Revonnah. While still having rook being a fanboy thing 'cus that's great and I don't want to get rid of it B)
Eventually Rook does find 23 and tries to talk with him but the circumstances of their meeting is under a stressful situation and 23 ends up thinking Rook is a bad guy. They end up actually figuring it out and talking, Rook asks for help and 23 says yes. They end up liberating Revonnah in the classic sort of way that the show does but with maybe more plot idk. And rook ends up liking this new lifestyle without the tons of stress added from having his family mind controlled and such. So they end up becoming partners similar to the Prime timeline.
