For fics that are split into chapters do we post the first chapter on our posting date and then post the rest after or do we need to post all the chapters on our assigned date?

No you can post just the first chapter on your posting day so long as you’ve sent us all your completed chapters via email

Do the chapter headings and line breaks count in the word count? Or is it just the actual writing? (I just want to be completely clear before the final draft needs to be handed in)

We’d prefer it to be actual writing but honestly if you’re at 11K or so it won’t matter. If you’re pushing it at like...10,002 words with chapter headings, we’ll still accept it but we’ll give your fic this (¬_¬) look

Gosh no! Chapters are perfectly fine! However you format your fic is completely up to you. All we care about is that it all adds up to at least 10K words
