AUs you say. I'm sick but I was like ya know what's cool. Mordern au for mad max felt every is like professional racers. Like just for like war boys they are on a factory team and like family and most have do it for their lives.

Where the drivers are all still drivers and their lancers are now their pit crew bosses, and they’re all like a family and stuff and go out drinking together after races until one day Slit gets frustrated that his driver is SO famous and no one pays attention to the crew and tries to take over as the driver when Nux is sick. But when Nux fights back and enters the race, Slit deliberately doesn’t fix something in the car and Nux ends up in an accident and Slit realizes that he really fucked up this time. Nux is hurt and in the hospital and Slit tries to take over as the driver for the sponsors’ sakes, and he’s just...terrible.

And of course, Furiosa is the best driver on the track and her half-female pit crew is a crew to be reckoned with. She has high-profile sponsors, though, that she doesn’t agree with, and she gets censored in interviews for speaking out against Immortan Aqua Cola and its questionable donations to the type of people she hates. She wants to break free of the racing life and get out from under the corporate thumb, but she needs help. Enter a former driver named Max, who managed to do exactly what she’s looking to do, and who, begrudgingly, helps her on her mission to leave televised racing, and take the people she cares most about, her faithful crew, with her, to a whole new world of jobs that don’t involve working for someone like Joe.

Problematic for sure. I’m not that great of a person. (Case in point: I got drunk on Sunday night at a bar, met some dude that was trying to hit on me and my other drunk female friend, who has a 9 year old daughter, and he was all over her and kissing her, and I ended up making out with her AND with him, more than once. And I basically hit on a guy almost twice my age for alcohol.) FYI: I’m 24 so it’s legal for me to drink in public and YES I did have a DD so I wouldn’t be driving drunk but stillll.

I was thinking Vette would probs be a pretty safe driver in comparison to other drivers because he put so much effort into restoring his car and wouldn't want it destroyed. I also imagine him getting mad if someone tries to mess with his car.

He loves that car very much, but he also doesn’t mind taking it out and getting it a little dirty. Restoring it was some of the most fun he’d ever had, so when he has the chance, he doesn’t mind fixing up some of the bumps and bruises it gets on raids.

Yesss you watched the first movie. What I remember when I first watched it was asking my dad why Max wore some much leather. Now I wonder why he let a child in elementary school watch Mad Max.

The leather I can understand more than letting an elementary school kid watch that movie.
