So if you're still brainstorming names for Lionel's best friend, maybe Brad?
I decided on Zach! It fits his easy-going attitude. :>

claxio replied to your post “I'm sick”
Feel better soon Vy! - (ah I should've said hope you feel better soon I'm not trying to rush you or anything but I hope you're feeling better in no time and aren't too sick ;w;)
WAA IT'S OK thank you for the well wishes, I hope my recovery is speedy too!!! *^^^*
I've already gone through 3 days of being sick (it was only today that I actually went to the doctor to get diagnosed rip me) so it shouldn't be too long now I hope..
claxio replied to your post “Your art is amazing! Do you have tips on studying anatomy and generally improving at stuff?”
Regarding your comment on using forms vs contours, do you mean constructing the body from shapes(forms?) VS just trying to draw stuff without thinking of the underlying structure? (I hope this question makes sense)
Yeah! Sorry if that was unclear. Simplified lines are OK but a mistake that a lot of people make is only drawing the outer shape of the body that they see (which would work for maybe one angle, but it won't help you understand how to draw the same parts from a different angle). Drawing as if they were 3d shapes (cylinders, cubes, spheres) is a better way to approach it. If you learn how to draw a body "in 3d" you can virtually draw any pose you can think of, because you'll be able to imagine the body in a manner that allows you to rotate and manipulate the parts rather than, idk, practicing a few lines that look like an arm at one angle and kind of weird for the rest.
I try to use curved lines that would indicate the curvature and volume of, for example, the ribcage and limbs etc when drawing. I haven't perfected my method yet since it doesn't look right ALL of the time, but it's something I'm personally working on.
So yeah! SHAPES not LINES!
I was thinking about your baby headcanon and I wonder if when the kids ask their parents how babies are made Masayoshi tells them that their daddies just wanted them really badly and then they came into existence. And later the kids grow up thinking that all parents just wish their children into being.
ACTUALLY I TALKED ABOUT THIS ON TWITTER BEFORE and yes that's exactly what happens and Goto is just like "Well, on the one hand, it's the truth, but on the other hand, I think we missed a really good opportunity to teach them about sex education like normal parents..."
claxio replied to your photoset “I got myself some new gray and tan toned sketchbooks a couple of weeks...”
I wanna visit Little Tokyo next time I'm in LA but my family might object :'D
YOU SHOULD GO!! it's a good experience, it's a really interesting place with lots to do. ;o; I don't go too often myself but when I do I have a lot of fun with my friends. You should lmk when ur in town so we can meet up!
What are you studying right now? (If you're in/went to school already)
I'm currently looking into getting classes towards the Art and Animation fields? but if that falls through I will be studying Physics for my Math major. @v@ I'm a declared Mathematics in Computation major (basically, math and computer science) but I want to get out of it and go to art school when I can. :'O
