The next time you venture into the woods or hike a trail, take something to put some trash in. The wildlife doesn’t need to live with human trash, if we all do our part the World would become a beautiful place.
Be safe when doing so, be sure not to touch needles, get the proper authorities that deal with that kind of removal.

Ausable Bayfield Watershed Clean-up
Today we are off to clean a portion of the Ausable River and some of the connecting trail systems in Southwestern Ontario. Who says that a few gestures like that can’t make a difference.
I encourage everyone to pick a trail, river or stream, and get out there and pick up some trash. The trash has been building up all Winter long, and with the thaw of snow the inland trash has a greater chance to make it into the water systems. We all must do our part my friends, lets get out there and prove that it doesn’t take the masses to make a difference.
Take plenty of pictures of your project in action. After we are finished with today’s clean up, we are taking the trash and placing it at the door of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Office seeing they refuse to place waste bins along their trails.
(Be safe around waterways, dress for the weather, always wear gloves, be safe and enjoy yourself while you are in Nature.)
